TITLE CARD- LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA JULY 19TH, 12:37 PM
EXT. BEACH - DAY
Detective AIDAN CAPELCO waits patiently in his unmarked car. His phone rings.
Hey dude. Naw, I'm just kickin' it. Yeah, it's hotter than a Megan Fox lookalike contest. Nuthin. Waiting for my homey to bring back lunch. Mexican or some shizzle. I gave him twenty bucks. Yeah, I'm hella hongry!
EXT. STREETS - DAY
DETECTIVE ALEX TURNBULL chats up a Hooker.
Hmmm... I only have twenty bucks. And some of that has to go for lunch. I'm going to have to use my government discount.
He flashes his badge then spots two amiable TEENS with a bag of fajitas.
Turnbull flashes his badge to the teens.
L.A. Cops: Mean Streets Special Investigations. Drop the weed, boys
It's just fajitas, bro.
I said, 'DROP THE BAG OF WEED, JERKWAD!!
They comply. Turnbull snatches the bag of fajitas away, pokes around.
OFFICER BRENT HOGAN, late 50's, hears the ruckus and rides up on a police bike, watching a moment, quietly finishing an ice cream cone.
Dude! We're starving!
The Teens try to grab the bag back.
Oh, you wanna dance with me, punk?
Turnbull wrestles with a Teen for the bag of fajitas, getting him in a headlock and popping him in the face.
